Most of the Democratic members of the Howard County Delegation signed onto a letter on January 11, 2021 calling on Representative Andy Harris to resign for violating his oath by perpetuating lies and conspiracy theories about the election that culminated in the insurrection of the United States Capitol.
Among the 71 members of the General Assembly who joined the letter from Howard County were District 12 Senator Clarence Lam and Delegates Terri Hill, Eric Ebersole, and Jessica Feldmark and District 13 Delegates Shane Pendergrass, Jen Terrasa, and Vanessa Atterbeary. Not on the letter were District 13 Senator Guy Guzzone, District 9 Senator Katie Fry Hester or District 9B Delegate Courtney Watson.
